When God is intentional; a thank you to those placed in my path
Matthew 18: 20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
If you have been around since the beginning, you know that we are still fairly new. We launched back in May but have seen God work in abundance. This ministry has brought tears, praise, laughter, and community. Both for myself and our readers. We have delighted in prayer and fought temptation.
One of the many things I love about God is His constant work. There’s an intentional pursuit behind everything we are and everything we go through. We often don’t recognize it. We often fight it. And we often minimalize it. We do these things because we are so deeply flawed. But God is patient. And He keeps working and moving. When I sit back and think about all that He has orchestrated to place me right here in this chair drinking my 2nd cup of coffee and watching my dog look out our patio window, I am overwhelmed with assurance that “He’s got me.” He always has. And always will.
One of the ways He has so carefully done this is through the myriad of people He has placed in my path. In just these short few months the friends and networks I have met and created are truly a gift. He didn’t have to do that. He could have left me alone and I would have kept moving forward with just Him and me, but He knows we function off community. He specifically designed us as a body. You might be a foot and I might be a hand, but no part of the body is better than the other, and every part of the body needs the other (1 Corinthians 12:12-31).
So, it has been a gift to meet and grow with so many Jesus-loving bloggers that are all on mission to spread the good news through their own platform.
In utter thankfulness I want to shout out a handful of those women here. Hop over and meet them. Pray for them. Give them some love.
